Yes you heard correct. AppBox v3.2 RC1 has been released to the general public. You can find it on the Beyouriphone repo, and our repo.



Basically, this is my alternative to installous 2.0.4. However, a feature that is new is AppCracker™. It utilizes Madhouse's Crack™ Utility, which is much faster than poedCrack, and also has a timer that lets you know how long the cracking process took!

Known Bugs/Issues:
-Apps don't immediately show after installer (rare, but it happens sometimes)
-Download progress bar doesn't dissappear when download is complete (just hit close)
-Browser crashes on certain URLS and file hosts

Because of the way the app handles download URLS, some file hosting sites to don't work. Mediafire and 2/4Shared are the main ones. Rapidshare, Appscene, IpadDl, and most of the others work perfectly fine.

I am working on v3.3 of the application right now. The new update will have a native interface, allowing users to browse appstore apps directly, without using any third party sites. As of now, all downloads are from AppTrackr, but future updates will allow users to select where they want to download from.

I e-mailed him to say that I didn’t mean to imply that he was lying during his iPad presentation, as several people accused me of in their comments. People make presentations written by marketers all the time that are not 100 percent truthful, and it doesn’t make them liars. I used the normal, publicly available e-mail address for him, not any of the special ways we press folks can sometimes get access. I figured that would be the end of it.
